On December 4th, we opened the doors to the first edition of Morning Brew, built around a simple belief: coffee has a special way of bringing people together.
We wanted a moment that felt easy and honest, a chance for our members to meet one another and for the wider community to experience our space without anything staged around it.
We were pleasantly surprised when people started showing up at 7:45 AM. The sun hadn’t even clocked in yet, but our community was already networking. It was the perfect chance to connect with our members, get to know them better and encourage them to explore both floors of our space.
The goal? Mix up our members, spark conversations and keep the inside-networking magic of coworking spaces alive.
After over 70 coffees, we not only caffeinated our members but also added new friends to our growing community.
The inspiration behind the event? Some of you might remember GranulR, our former coffee shop on Virgil Madgearu nr.5, next to The Garden. GranulR was more than a coffee shop; it was a meeting spot, a place for spontaneous encounters and a hub for our community. When it had to close, we missed that connection.
With Morning Brew, we aimed to bring that feeling back, without reopening a full coffee shop. We brought in our GranulR barista, set up coffeeshop music, added some holiday décor, and offered seasonal treats, all to create that same sense of casual, friendly connection.
If you missed this first edition, don’t worry! Morning Brew will be back next year. It’s a unique Cowork Timisoara event, where you can grab a free cup of specialty coffee and meet fellow community members, whether you’re here for work or just passing by.
