We are committed to showcasing the best practices and the success stories of local startups that are scaling globally. In this series of events, we facilitate connections for founders with business peers, advisors, investors, technology partners, innovators in local companies, and public stakeholders.
We are designing each event having in mind the already existing best practices in the local community, the frameworks of validation & scaling used to build lean startups & MVPs that accelerate international expansion. We are always considering the Paul Graham startup definition: “A startup is a temporary organization in search of a highly scalable and repeatable business model”. Ciprian Man (or Chip, in short) is an experienced angel investor with a diverse portfolio of 25 startups from industries such as medtech, edtech, proptech, marketplaces, and more. His favourite technology verticals include artificial intelligence, SaaS, and quantum computing. He co-founded Growceanu, the angel investment platform, where he is also co-CEO. Before doing this, he co-founded the Romanian subsidiary of a fintech startup called Unifiedpost which eventually ended up listed on Euronext (IPO), having by then also co-founded the digital marketing agency EBIG, after spending some time in academia.
Rima Calancea, CEO & Co-Founder at EdNeos, with more than 5 years of experience in the business communication and public relations field insatiable curiosity, eagerly anticipating the wonders that the enchanting realm of technology holds for the future of humanity, particularly in the realm of education. Dedicated to working at EdNeos - pioneering the world's first educational assistant.
Vesa Alexandru, CTO at ORIGINi is a highly experienced AI and software engineering professional with over 9 years of experience, having worked in both big companies and startups.
